SARAH CEDELLA RICHARDS
March 19, 1946-October 30, 2014
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Richards
announce her passing on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from Dr. Charles L. LeGrow
Health Centre with her loving family by her side at the age of 68. She
was born in Port-aux-Basques, NL and was the daughter of the late Louis
and Hilda (Durnford) Greene. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving
memories her husband, Eric Richards of 45 years, daughter, Tracy (Bob)
Warren, Dartmouth, NS, her pride and joy her grandson, Zackery Warren,
brothers, Tony (Madonna) Greene, Jim (Lillian) Greene, Eric (Michelle)
Greene and Gerald (Annette) Durnford, nieces and nephews, Jamie, Stacy,
Katrina, Jason, Mitchell and Brad; and a wide circle of friends. Sarah
was predeceased by her mother and father in law, William and Maud
Richards and brother-in-law, George Richards. In keeping with Sarah’s
wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service was held on
Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at 3 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church
with Rev. Canon Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at St.
James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. In lieu of flowers donations
in Sarah’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Words of

arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre¹s Funeral Home, 134 Main
Street, Port aux Basques.
