MARSTON, GARY WENDELL - The passing of Gary Wendell Marston of Mazerolle Settlement, NB, husband of Pamela (Lawrence) Marston, occurred on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 25, 1950 in Benton, NB, he was the son of the late Merritt and Hazel (Leighton) Marston. He was an instructor at NBCC. Gary enjoyed watching his grandchildren play hockey; he also enjoyed playing golf, carpentry and teaching school. In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his daughter, Christin (Matt) Swim of Mazerolle Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Alicia (Dan) Wishart, Steven Plume, Cale DeLong, Bryon Plume, Colton Swim and Eden Marston; great-grandchild, Madden Wishart; sister, Carol (Blake) Palmer of Saint John, NB; brother, Bobby (Sandra) Marston of Canterbury, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Audrey Stanley.
Visitation took place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service took place at Journey Wesleyan Church on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating.
