HORSMAN, ELIZABETH "LIZZ" LOUISE - Elizabeth “Lizz” L. Horsman, 72, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Percy W. and Marguerite H. (Steeves) Ripley. Lizz was formerly employed with Lane’s Bakery and a retired Claims Processer with Blue Cross. She was a former member of Stilesville United Church and an adherent of Visions United Church. Lizz enjoyed playing bingo, watching hockey and spending time with her family. Lizz will be sadly missed by her son, Shane Douglas Horsman (Denise) of Dieppe; sister, Sharon Steeves (late Richard) of Riverview; sisters and brothers-in-law, Muriel McLellan (Pat), Joyce Boucher (Don), June Kelly (Ron) and Glenn Horsman (Colleen); cousins, Bill and Harvey Renton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Horsman and sister, Drenna Ripley.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (885-1995) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Dr. Douglas MacEachern officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Birch Hill Cemetery.
