Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on November 3, 2014, in his 89th year, Otto John Ryan. Left to mourn, with loving memories are his children, Wayne , (Sylvia) Corner Brook, Robert, Conception Bay South, Diane Roberts (Jim ), Mount Pearl, and Donald (Donna) Cornwall, Ontario. Beloved grandchildren; Karen Ryan, Janice Turner (Sariq), Corner Brook; Christopher Ryan (Janna), Todos Santos, Mexico; Scott Ryan (Katie), Bedford, Nova Scotia, Ryan LeDrew (Christine) and Stephanie LeDrew (Levi Oliver), Petrolia, Ontario, Karen Waters (Andre Maillet), Orleans, Ontario, Julia Roberts, Mount Pearl, Andrew Ryan (Jen Bieber), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Rebecca and Michael Ryan, Cornwall, Ontario; Precious great-grand-children Nathan and Sylvie LeMoine, Corner Brook, Arianna Ryan, Bedford, Nova Scotia, Ryder LeDrew, Petrolia, Ontario, and Blake Maillet, Orleans, Ontario, as well as a large circle of cousins, nephews , nieces and friends. Otto was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Ryan (nee Cunning), his parents, James and Alberta Ryan (nee James ) and his brother Donald Warick Ryan. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Wednesday, November 5th, between the hours of 2 – 4 PM and 7 and 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th, at 11:00 AM from Fillatre’s Funeral Home and Chapel with Major Max Sturge officiating; interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Montgomery Street.
