The death occurred at his home on Monday, November 3, 2014, of John Trainor, of Stratford, age 99 years.
Beloved husband of the late Jennie Trainor (nee Sharpe) and loving father of Roy (Arlene), Philip, Paul, Gloria (Vino) Budhan and Christine (Gerald). He will also be remembered by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Floyd.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, November 5, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 6, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
