The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, November 2, 2014 of Roger Verbal Williams, aged 73. Born in Mount Pleasant on September 9, 1941, son of the late Keith and Loretta (Cotton) Williams, beloved husband of Ada Mae (Perry) Williams. Loving father of sons Ryan, Tyne Valley; Billy (Lisa), Springhill; daughter Krista (Ray) Bulger, Foxley River and to 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Brandon, Emma, Kyle, Hannah, Matthew, Aiden, Bridget, Jorja Rae, Elsa May and great granddaughter Allie Edith Mae. Roger is also survived by sisters Isabelle (Late Harold) Henderson, Pickering,ON; Jo-Ann (Adrian) Gallant, Summerside; brothers Alvin (Charlotte), St. Gilbert; Allison (Pat), Springhill; sister in law Donna (Late Russell) Williams; brother in law Arnold Rayner; half sister Sherry MacDonald, Toronto, ON; step mother Nina Williams, Brampton, ON; step sister Betty Lou (Mike Zeta), Elmsdale and step brother Lyndon Jennings, Brampton, ON. Predeceased by his parents, grandparents Ken & Ethel Williams and Russell & Annie Cotton; sisters Erva and Ernestine, brothers Floyd, Russell, Harold and by grandson Brock Bulger (Nov. 2, 2012). Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel for visiting hours Tuesday, November 4th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 5th in the Chapel at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Tyne Valley Presbyterian Cemetery.
