Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Thursday, October 30, 2014, RUBY MARY PIKE, of Bay L’argent, NL, in her 65th year. Leaving to mourn her loving children Reginald (Patricia), Creighton, SK, and Darlene Pike (Ken), Eastern Passage, NS; 3 Grandchildren, Mikayla, Kelsey, and Mack; Sisters Sheila House (Freeman), Bay L’argent, Dulcie Banfield, Bay L’argent; and a large circle of relatives and special friends. Predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Samuel and Mary Pardy, sister Mabel, brothers Cyril and Rendell, and special friend Jerry. Rev. Jeffrey Blackwood conducted the Funeral Service at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, Bay L’argent, on Wednesday, November 05th, 2014; at 2:00 pm. Inurnment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Bay L’argent, NL. Donations in Ruby’s memory may be made to the St. Hilda’s Anglican Cemetery Fund. Urn bearers were her daughter, Darlene Pike and son Reg Pike.
