Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 7, of Dan MacGregor of Mermaid, age 64 years.
Beloved husband of the late Gladys MacGregor (nee Laybolt) and loving brother of Winston MacGregor. Dan is survived by his step children Alonzo Blaisdell (Nancy), Allan McGuigan (Rose), Michelle Dyke (Trevor) and Rachel McGuigan (Stephen); step grandchildren, Bradley and Jacob Dyke, Mackenzie Palmer and Breanna Biso; brothers-in-law, Melvin, James and John Anthony Laybolt and Mike O'Brien; and sisters-in-law, Sheila and Helen Laybolt and Carolyn Blaisdell.
He was predeceased by his parents, Horace and Lucy MacGregor, and brother-in-law, Willard Laybolt.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Sunday, November 9, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 10, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Ryan Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
