It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas William Reid announce his passing on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, at the Long Term Care Unit in Corner Brook in his 88th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Viola nee Ford, his children; Linda (Norm), Geraldine (Brian), his Grandchildren; Jeff, Jason, Sheldon and Shane, his Three great-grandchildren; Sara, Tyler and Jack. His siblings; Evelyn Smith, Clarence Reid, and Ada Gedoury. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents Norman & Matilda Reid, siblings Ches Reid, Rhoda Roberts. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake on Sunday November 9th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral service will take place on Monday November 10th, 2014, at 2:pm. from St. Michael's And All Angel's Anglican Church in Deer Lake. With the burial to follow at the family plot of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL..
