Willis, Helen Dolores - Truro
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Willis (Hamilton) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Colchester East Hants Health Care Centre, Truro. Helen was born on July 22, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Kathleen Hamilton and Wilfred Jordan. She is survived by her husband John. Helen will be missed by her daughter, Jill (Bill), Eastern Passage and son, Glenn (Paula), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Tamara, Indianapolis, Indiana, Lindsay and Cody, Calgary, AB.
She was predeceased by her son, John “Buzzy” and brother, Arthur Jordan. The family would like to thank the wonderful
medical staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Care Centre for their professionalism and treating our mother with the utmost respect and dignity. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 12, from 2 - 3 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Yetman and Pastor Brian O. Johnston officiating, both from Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St, Truro. Donations in Helen’s honor may be made to the V.O.N., or to a charity of choice.
