He was born in Glace Bay on Jan. 22, 1937 to the late Edward and Marjorie (Dooley) Jennings.
John is survived y his wife, Connie (Karluk); daughters, Cheryl (Neil Foshay), Halifax, Kelly, Boston, Mass.; sons, Michael, Frenchvale, John (Sherie Hodds), Bedford; grandsons, Jeff, Tom and Will; sisters, Brenda Fogg and June Nuttman, Calif.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by daughter, Colleen; brother, Paul.
In honouring John's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
