It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom Amy Stubbs. She passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the age of 100 years. Amy was born on September 1, 1914 at Kisbey, SK and moved to the Elk Range District west of Northside, SK when she was a young child. She has lived in several cities in Western Canada, throughout her hundred years. Amy was predeceased by her husband Cliff in July of 2003 and her eldest son Albert in April of 1988. She is survived by one daughter, Norma (Bob) Piche; son Neil (Nancy) Stubbs; son Wes (Carol) Stubbs; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Irene Stubbs and sister Nancy Sparrow. Amy and Cliff farmed for many years in the Spruce Home District, then retired in 1964. Amy was presented with a life membership in the Prince Albert Exhibition Association in 1982, for her work as a Director of the Association. For the past two years Amy resided at Koperas Care Home where she made new friends and had special care. She always remembered her special friend Tony who was such a great support to her.
