Alice’s life was a dedication to family, both immediate and extended. All were welcome in her home and there was always an extra seat at her table. She loved to join in a good song and her keen wit, delightful sense of humour and calm demeanor drew people to her.
Small of stature but strong of spirit and quietly determined, she was a forceful influence on the lives of those she touched. She accepted all as they were and her hospitable personality always made people feel welcome and comfortable.
A woman of strong faith, Alice was a lifelong member of Holy Redeemer parish and for many years a member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was an exemplary role model and her descendents will forever cherish her memory.
The family wishes to thank the staffs of Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax and Richard Hines Manor, Sydney, who for the past number of years have provided Alice with excellent care in happy and comfortable surroundings.
