It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of the late Mabel Hilda LaSaga announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 12, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Mabel will be sadly missed by daughters, Theresa (Clifton) Squires, Sheila (Brendan) Mitchell, son, Anthony, (with whom she resided) and her granddaughters, Alaina and McKenzie Squires whom she dearly loved. She was predeceased by her loving husband David Bernard LaSaga in 2007; parents, Charles Albert Dennis and Susannah Pennell; brothers, Stewart, Bill and David and sisters, May, Ethel, Bessie and Edith. She also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street during the hours 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, November 14. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 15 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street, with Father Don Leonard officiating, followed by interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
