COLEMAN, HELEN MARGARET - The death of Helen Margaret Coleman, wife of the late Donald E. Coleman, occurred on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born March 28, 1934 in Greenwich Hill, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Gordon and Reta Amanda (Appt) Bonnell. Helen obtained her Homemaker’s Certificate in 1989 and loved working with her clients in their homes until her family required her assistance. She had a love of animals, especially the birds that came to her feeders and her two dogs, Skippy and Teddy. She enjoyed rug hooking, time with friends and family, being outdoors, and doing puzzles. Helen is survived by her only daughter, Donna olde Damink (George); grandchildren: Andrew (Lori), Don (Casey), Lia, and Dan (Danielle); and great-granddaughter, Abigail. Besides her parents and her husband, Helen was predeceased by her granddaughter, Angela olde Damink; and her two brothers: Ralph A. and Lawrence E.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
