Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, Melena Gray (nee Cuff), age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband, Caleb Gray; daughter, Janice; grandson, Baby Ryan, and great-grandson, Baby Marcus; brothers: Cyril Cuff and Gilbert Goodyear; sisters: Mereta Mouland and Nancy Abbott. Leaving to mourn, daughters: Mereta Goodyear (Robert), Condra Wiseman (Clayton), and Jill Gray (Stephen); sons: Robert Gray (Marjorie), Rocky Gray (Winnie), and Michael Gray; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Dorcas Cuff, Neta Toms, Susie Gray and Maude Gray; brother-in-law, Otto Gray (Barbara); as well as extended family and many friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, November 14, from 7-9pm, and on Saturday, November 15, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, James Lane.
