July 20, 1915 - November 12, 2014: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing at the Health Sciences Centre of a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and a nan to everyone, Angela (Myles) Parrott, 99 years. Predeceased by her husband, John (1992), her five sons: Charles (1988), Austin (1999), Jerome (2003), James (2010), Francis (2014), step-grandson: James (2002), grandson, Stephen (2014), parents: James and Rebecca Myles of St. Bernard's, sister: Margaret McCarthy, brothers: John, Alex, Austin, twin brother William, Jerome and Joseph, son-in-law Fergus Tremblett, and Robert Power, daughters-in-law: Margaret and Louise Parrott. Leaving to mourn her children: Marion, Betty (Jim), Tom (Grace), Kevin (Norma) and David (Susan), daughters-in-law: Bride, Teresa, and Ivy Parrott, 46 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. Special thanks to the home care workers: Madeline, Trudy and Beth. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church from 6 - 9 pm on Thursday, November 13, from 10 am - 9 pm on Friday, November 14, and from 10 am - 12 noon on Saturday, November 15 with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
