It is with great sadness that the family of Dwayne Augustus Major announce his sudden passing at the Bonne Bay Health centre on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014, at the age of 44 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother; Mrs. Loretta nee Maynard, his daughter; Laura Payne, Susan Payne the mother of his daughter, his siblings; Paulette Maynard (Todd Reid), Paul Maynard, Jimmy (Leona) Major, Brenda (Raymond) Samms, Corey (Brenda) Major, & Ashley (Michelle) Major, his grandmother; Mrs. Elizabeth Maynard, Dwayne was predeceased by his father; James Major, his grandfather; Stanley Maynard, and grandparents; Margaret & Jacob Major, also a number of uncles, & aunts. Also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of The Good Shepherd in Norris Pt, NL, on Saturday, November 15th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Sunday November 16th, 2014, at 2: pm, with Rev: Canon: Louise Richards officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
