John passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2014. He was born on September 2, 1920 in the Samburg District. John is survived by his three children, Linda I. (Ross) Vaughan, Ron (Laurie) Andrusek and Blaine Andrusek; his grandchildren Andrew Vaughan (partner Cassie) and Cameron R. (Tammy) Vaughan; Ken (Vicki Holt) Vaughan (and great grandchildren Taryn (great great grandchildren Shaun and Azalea) and Jaxon), Linda M. Vaughan (and great grandchildren Jo-anne (and great great grandchild Jace) and Jayden); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dora; his parents Metro and Margaret Andrusek; his sisters Mary Woroniuk, Sally Dickie, Sophie Smisko and Rose Moldowan; his brothers Bill Andrusek, George Andrusek and Dave Andrusek; his sisters-in-law Alice Andrusek, Mary Elchuk and Nettie Petersen; his brothers-in-law John Woroniuk, Jim Dickie, Fred Moldowan, Max Smisko, Nick Holowaty, Leonard Holowaty, John Holowaty, Alex Holowaty, Tom Elchuk, Charlie Parker and Bill Holowaty; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Dmetro and Irene Holowaty; his son-in-law Ross Vaughan; as well as other relatives. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
