She was born on Friday, April 25, 1952 in Carrot River, SK to Thomas and Lena (Baker) Ramsdell. She was predeceased by her father Thomas; her grandparents Signa and Lyle Baker, and Eva (Dubois) Ramsdell. Linda held many positions in life but was particularly proud of a special commendation for her work as a Security Guard within the Edmonton Hospital Region. She will be remembered as kind, loving and a fierce defender of others. She loved sports from her youth and her love of pets included a menagerie of dogs, cats and birds throughout her life. Linda had a wonderful gift with needle and thread and created many fine pieces of art which she continually sent out as gifts to friends and family. "This we know: all things are connected like the blood that unites us. We do not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it; whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves." (Chief Seattle) Gifts, tributes may be given to the Saskatchewan Kidney Foundation or the CNIB. The family would like to thank St. Paul Hospital Renal Unit, Victoria Hospital Renal Unit, and Pattie Jenkins for their care and support throughout the past years. A Celebration of Life will be held July 25, 2015 with a gathering of her family and friends. A private graveside service will take place Saturday, November 22 at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
