It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Richard Bennett announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Friday November 14, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Gary (Sharon) Bennett, Debbie (Rick) Seward, Sandra (Alf) Targett; grandchildren: Richard, Victoria, Ashley, Christopher, siblings: Marylyn (Paul) Gaudet, Clarence (Bella), Ronald (Sylvia); brothers and sisters-in-law: Ivy Bennett, Elizabeth Bennett, Eric Young, Olive Pope, Jack Maloney, Georgina (Clarence) Brooks; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marie Louise; parents John (Jack) & Helen Bennett, sisters: Frances, Marie; brothers: Earnest and Shannon. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday and Monday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday November 18, 2014 from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. officiated by Marilyn Avery, with interment following at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
