Passed peacefully away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital with her loving family by her side, Helen Elizabeth Penney (nee Kavanaugh) age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband James, brothers Walter, Jack, Leo, and Gord, sisters Elizabeth and Adalaide. Leaving to mourn five sons Vincent (Carol),Jack, Robert, Frederick (Lorraine) and Michael; five daughters Dorothy Dunne, Kathy Durdle (John), Mary Ring (Jim), Alice Pearce and Hilda Burton (Gary), twenty three grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Monday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from St Teresa's Church at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St Vincent de Paul Society at St Teresa's Church.
