EGGEN: Shirley Kathern Vivian age 70 of Gull Lake, SK, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Palliser Care Centre. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. from the Knox United Church in Gull Lake, SK with Eleanor Bowie officiating. Music By Millie Spagrud King Gin and Sharon Dahl. The Interment Service was held at Verlo Cemetery. The pallbearers were Lyle Pleasance, Kevin Pleasance, Daryle Green, Lorne Green, Ryan Flaterud and Clint Weston. Shirley is survived by her son Aeron (Terri) Eggen; her daughter Sherry (Kirby) Endicott; her sister Sylvia (Vern) Pleasance; her brother Bernard (Laurie) Green; her grandchildren, Chandal (Jesse) Huber, Tanya (Clayton) Endicott, Holly (Brendan) Abraham, and Kierra Eggen; her great-grandchildren: Thomas Dussault, and Nakeisha Dussault; her nieces and nephews: Lyle (Cindy) Pleasance and their children Josh and Jordon; Janette (Brent) Wessner and their children, Crystal, Brandon, Alexis and Darren; Kevin (Bernie) Pleasance and their children Sierra and Charlee; Greg (Miranda) Pleasance and their children Tyler and Brianna; Lorne (Marcie) Green and their children Clayton and Carlene, Lisa Green, Daryl (Casey) Green; Jody (Totrin) Wood and their children Baily and Jaylen, Amy (Mike) Wiltse, Ben Green, and Tim Green. She is predeceased by her husband Richard Eggen; her parents Lawrence and Anne Green; her brother Renald Green; her sister-in-law Pat Green; and her daughter-in-law Angela Wittal. She attended the Vincent Lake and Nadeaville Centre Schools. Shirley and Richard were married on July 27, 1974 at the Knox United Church in Gull Lake. Shirley's main job was her farm and her livestock. She also was a housekeeper in her younger years for people in the Tompkins and Gull Lake areas. She worked for a while at the Green House in Gull Lake. Her main interest in life was the farm. She and Richard were always together doing something on the farm, even after Richard's passing Shirley was in the field planting and harvesting. She enjoyed her cattle and the work it took to keep them. She enjoyed going to dances in Gull Lake where she met Duncan McCuaig. They enjoyed travelling and fishing. Shirley enjoyed her time with family very much. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Donations may be made to Stars Ambulance, 2640 Airport Road, Regina SK S4W 1A3, in Shirley's memory.
