A. Aileen MacLure (nee Cook), age 82, of Montague, devoted wife of the late Arnold MacLure, occurred on Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with family by her side.
Born in Wood Islands on May 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Christine (MacLennan) Cook.
Aileen is survived by her loving children, Judy Johnston, Gary (Patsy) MacLure; son-in-law, Bill McKinnon; brother, Billy (Judy) Cook; sisters, Nan (Larry) Trainor, Dolly Buell; sister-in-law, Wilma Clements (Gilbert, deceased); brother-in-law, Errol “Dusty” (Pat) MacLure; cherished grandchildren, Tawnia (Adam) Enman, Brittany (Alex Daley) Johnston, Kristofer (Tammy Wall) McKinnon, Shawn (Melissa) McKinnon, Jason (Jaime-Jo Moore) MacLure, Stephanie (Cory Young) MacLure; adored great-grandchildren, Zack, Alexis, Kohl, Kase, Charly, Georgie and Kenleigh; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter, Heather McKinnon, and son-in-law, Fred Johnston.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the Community Park Cemetery.
Donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Montague or Community Park Cemetery would be appreciated. By request family flowers only.
