The death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, November 15, 2014, of Irene Wendt-Kozarevich (nee Farrell) of Miscouche and formerly of Lot 16, aged 97 years. Irene was born in Lot 16 to her late parents Isador and Mary (nee Woods) Farrell. Beloved wife of Michael Kozarevich and loving mother of Frank (Rachelle) Wendt of Vancouver, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren Joelle (David) Fiteni and Dylan (Lori) Wendt, one great-grandchild Landun Wendt and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her first husband Frank Wendt and her brother Leo (Amy) Farrell. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, Nov. 26, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Irene¹s memory to the Alzheimer¹s Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
