Gover, Robert Fowlow
(1924-2014)
On Nov. 5, 2014 surrounded by family Bob passed peacefully away at home, as was his wish. Bob is survived by loved ones, wife Kathleen, daughter Sharonlee (Brian) Card, son Shawn (Anjenett). Grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life, Brooks (Ashley) Card, Brent Card and Jayden Gover. Bob looked forward to and had the joy of meeting his Great Grandson, Brinnigan Robert Card, born on Oct. 2, 2014. Bob lived and worked in Gander, NL, a town he was proud to call home, for 72 years. He was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed life, family and had many friends. In later years, Bob enjoyed being close to family and spent many hours with his loyal companions Odin, Stella & Jake. Sharon & Shawn and families would like to express their special thanks and gratitude to Mom who provided exceptional care to Dad is these past months allowing him to remain at home, as was his greatest wish. Cremation has taken place & arrangements entrusted to Cole Harbour Funeral Home. A private gathering of family & friends will take place at a later date.
