Passed peacefully away at Eagle Ridge Hospital, Port Moody, British Columbia on Saturday, November 8, 2014, Sylvia LeGrow, a Scottish war bride, formerly of Broad Cove North, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Hudson D. in 1998 and parents: David and Rachael MacKenzie. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Mary, St. Albert, AB; son: William (Velma), Coquitlam, BC; three grandchildren: Rodney (Edita), Brad (Kristy), Heather (Jeremy) and six great grandchildren; brother: William (Nan) Mackenzie, Drumguish, Scotland; also a number of other relatives and friends. Inurnment to take place on Wednesday, November 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Cemetery, Blackhead. A celebration of Sylvia’s life will take place with a reception following the committal service on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay.
