CORMIER, AURELE - 1931-2014 - Aurèle Cormier, 83, of Saint-Antoine, passed away at the CHU Georges-L-Dumont in Moncton, on Thursday November 20, 2014. He was married to Laura (Saulnier) Cormier. Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Félix and the late Marie-Louise (Robichaud) Cormier. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Laura, his children; Denise Gaudet (Clayton) of Irishtown, Jeannine Robichaud (Raymond) , and Gérard (Francine), both of Saint-Antoine, his daughter-in-law, Norma of Dieppe, his grandchildren: Chrissy, Shauna, Brian, Steven, Kim and Ryan and his great-granddaughters; Brielle and Avery. He also leaves to mourn his sisters; Therese Cormier, Anise Maillet (Leonard) both of Saint-Antoine, Claire Pitre of Port Hawksbury, Élévanie Arsenault, Léona Richard both of Moncton, Lina Daigle, Fidélice Thibodeau (Eymard) both of Richiboucto-Village and Maria Maillet (Ariste) of Saint-Norbert, his brothers; Laurie of Saint-Antoine and Emile (Paulette) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Aurèle was predeceased by a son, Roger (2004), one sister, Doris and one brother, Nazaire.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, in Saint-Antoine, on Monday November 24, 2014 from 7 to 9pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45am. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Church on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 11:00am. In memory of Aurèle a donation can be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada.
