LITTLE, ETHEL ESTELLA - Ethel E. Little of Fredericton and formerly of Harvey, NB passed away November 22, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ethel was born at Harvey Station, NB in 1923, a daughter of the late Charles and Etta (Moffitt) Swan. Ethel was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Harvey and after moving to Fredericton, attended Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, painting and attending family functions. Ethel belonged to a Book Club and also enjoyed square dancing every chance she got. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Fredericton. Ethel is survived by a son, James Little (Patricia), Harvey Station, NB; a daughter, Carolyn Power (Joseph), Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Carla Estabrooks (Dennis), Matthew Little (Kathryn), Mark Little (Andrea), all of Harvey Station, NB and Monica Little (Jim), Quispamsis, NB; ten great-grandchildren, Emily Estabrooks, Christian, Noah and Sarah Wyman, Tristen and Colten Little, Kylie Sprott, Jaydon, Jesse and Mallory Little; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Delmont Little; a sister, Emma Coburn and an infant brother, Edwin Swan.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, NB on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Anne Boudreau officiating. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church youth hall.
