TOBIN, JAMES "JIM" PATRICK - July 11, 1967 - November 15, 2014 - At the age of 47, after a short illness Jim passed away peacefully at the Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, BC. Born in Goose Bay, Labrador Jim then moved with his family to Fredericton, NB in 1974. Jim was a fun loving guy, known to many of his friends as “Newf”. Jim enjoyed, hockey, baseball, playing pool and being the life of the party. Jim graduated from Fredericton High School and went on to work in the field of construction. Jim is survived by his daughter Theresa Young (Angela), father Cyril Tobin (Audrey Murray), sisters Tina Good (Kelly Davidson) and Helena Mailloux (John) and brothers Tony, Ken, John (Shirley Withers), Cyril Jr. (Heidi) and Kevin (Emily Chevrier), nieces and nephews: Christina, Christopher, Mark, Ryan, Jack, Tyler, Landon and Lydia, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim also had many friends both in NB and BC. Jim is predeceased by his mother, Theresa Maria (Wiseman) Tobin.
A private service will be held on Thursday, November 27th, 2014 at Bishop’s Funeral Home officiated by Father Bill Brennan with interment to follow directly after.
