BUTLER, Annette Agnes – 73, Upper Wedgeport, passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born May 4, 1941 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Esther (LeBlanc) Boudreau. Annette worked as a cook at Villa Saint Joseph-du-Lac for 29 years, having also worked and lived in Montreal, New York and England. She was a member of the Wedgeport and District Fire Department Auxiliary, as well as of the Yarmouth Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, making puzzles, reading and knitting. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Matthews (Elliott Eastham), Aldergrove, BC; Jacquie Butler (Ed LeFave), Lower Wedgeport, as well as by her grandchildren, Davin Theriault and David Heroux, and a great-grandson, Liam Heroux. Also surviving are her former husband, Donald Butler, a sister, Sally Pothier, Wedgeport; brothers, Richard (Carrie) Boudreau, Holden, ME and Al (Becky) Boudreau, Wedgeport. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Boudreau. Cremation has taken place and there was no visitation by request. The funeral mass was held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, November 27 from Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
