Peacefully at the Souris Hospital, of John Charles MacDonald, age 75, of Souris, devoted husband of 38 years to Rose Marie "Goldie" MacDonald, occurred on November 27, 2014, surrounded by family.
Born in Cardigan, P.E.I., on March 7, 1939, he was the son of the late Art and Sarah (Burke) MacDonald.
Charlie is survived by his loving children, Michael (Lori) Fitzpatrick, Marie (Gerard) Fitzpatrick and JC MacDonald. He is survived by brother, Carl "Ducky" (Heather) MacDonald, Stratford; by sister, Joan (Peter) Doucette, Mermaid; and sister-in-law, Jean McMurrer, Stratford; and his cherished grandchildren, James MacCormack, Shelby O'Brien, Alex and Sean Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by brothers, Rollie and Sonny.
Cremation to take place. Private family service and interment at a later date. No visitation by personal request.
