It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Inkpen of Lewin's Cove announces his passing at Health Science Center, St. John's on Friday, November 28th at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn sons Morley Inkpen (Phyllis) of Lewin's Cove, Chris Inkpen (Gladys) of Lewin's Cove, Roger Inkpen (Goldie) of St. Albert's AB, Todd Inkpen of Sherwood Park AB; daughters Daphne Hoben (Robert) of Lewin's Cove, Cherry Frampton (Rick) of Sherwood Park AB ; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Arthur Inkpen of Clarenville plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Mildred Inkpen; brothers Kyle, John, Leonard, Eugene; sister Mabel. Rev. Dr. Japhet NDHLOVU officiated funeral service from Hope United Church, Lewin's Cove on Monday, December 1st, 2014 with interment following at United cemetery, Lewin's Cove.
Pallbearers were Chris Inkpen, Todd Inkpen, Keith Inkpen, Gilbert Inkpen, Brandon Inkpen, Robbie Hoben.
