CHETWYND, David “Shag” Walter, 58, Reynoldscroft, Shelburne County died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born at Baccaro on June 10, 1956, he was a son of Joyce (Madden) Chetwynd and the late Malcolm Chetwynd. He was known for his sense of humor and was a practical jokester. He enjoyed ducking. One of his famous sayings was “if it hops, it drops; if it flies, it dies”. He is survived by his former wife, Sherry (McKenney); son, Lewis, Round Bay; brother, Wayne (Cindy), Reynoldscroft; niece, Kellyn Chetwynd; nephew, Peter Chetwynd. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Beulah Burman Animal Shelter or the Port LaTour Fire Dept.
