DAIGLE, EDWINA (AKERLEY) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edwina (Akerley) Daigle at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Born in St. Leonard, NB, daughter of the late Edwin and Ida (Michaud) Akerley, Edwina was happily married for 64 years to late Alban Daigle. Edwina will be sadly missed by three sons; late Jean-Marc (Michel), Marcel (Danièle) both of Montreal and Gilles (Josette) of Dieppe, four daughters; Nicole (Bill) Bertignoll of Toronto, Parise (Yvon) Friolet of Caraquet, Jocelyne (Pierre) Portugais of Montreal, Michelle of Dieppe, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with another arriving soon as well as many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm and Friday, December 5, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at ainte-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 12:00 pm followed by a reception at the Club d'âge d'or de Dieppe.
