BASTARACHE, PATRICIA - 1928 - 2014 - Patricia “Pat” Bastarache, 86, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014, at her residence. Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Emma (née: Leger) Beckwith. Mrs. Bastarache had worked at Marven’s. She along with her husband, Tommy managed and operated the Jamboree session on Sunday evening at the Red Barn in Dieppe. She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tommy”; three sisters: Diane, Marjorie and Phyllis; several nieces and nephews: Blair, Glen, Gail, Carole, Susan and Brian, as well as the extended Bastarache family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Thérèse and also by one brother, Wendell.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Monday, December 8th, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Providence Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
