Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre after a long and courageous battle. Leaving to mourn partner Jake Parsons, her mother Mary Hynes, her loving brothers and sisters, her children Bernie (John Madden), Mona (Dave Newman), Paddy (Charlene), Harold (Tiffany), Steven (Patricia), Jordan (Bobbi) and Josh (Kayla), 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many beloved family and friends. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home, Quigley's Line, Bell Island. Visitation on Thursday December 4, 12-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Parish on Friday December 5, 2014 at 11am, Flowers graciously accepted, or donations may be made to Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre in memory of Carmel.
