Edward “Ted” Nelson McKeand
March 27, 1925 – November 23, 2014

Ted, our dear father passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Ted was born March 27, 1925 in Lampman, Saskatchewan to Jessie and Thomas McKeand and was the fifth of ten children. Ted was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Robert, Johnson, David and Gene; his sisters Hattie and, Grace; nephews Jim Brommeland, Bob McKeand and Greg Gies. Ted’s memory will be cherished by his three daughters Marion McKeand, Barbara McKeand and Pamela Schulz; his grandchildren Matthew (Denise) McElwaine and Mason Clement, Allison and Whit (Catherine Elmer) Saretsky; Carolyn & Dana Schulz; his five great grandchildren Kian and Collin McElwaine, Tori Schulz, Lillian and Jenna Souky; his sisters Eileen, Florence and June; three sisters- in-law Stella, Lillian and Anne McKeand as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. Private Family Interment will be held. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
