BLIGH
Gwyneth Margaret Bligh, formerly of the Central Butte/Mawer area, passed away on Monday, December 1st, 2014 at Providence Place in Moose Jaw, SK with her children by her side. She was predeceased by her first husband, Clint Bligh (1986); brother, Douglas (1944); parents, Herbert (1948) and Louisa (1966) Trickett; brother-in-law, Johnnie (1982); and sister, Marianne Holswick (2014). Gwyn was born on September 25th, 1928 near McLean, SK. Gwyn’s teaching career began in 1947 after seven months of training at Normal School in Moose Jaw. One of her first teaching positions was Vassar. While teaching there, she met her husband Clint Bligh at one of the Saturday Night Dances in the Mawer Hall. After they were married in 1950, they lived together on the family farm and raised their two children, Keith and Margaret. Mom was an active community member in both the Mawer and Central Butte areas. After mom and dad moved to Central Butte, they enjoyed the arrival of their grandchildren and their visits, especially after school. After Clint passed away in 1986, Gwyn married Warren Wilson in 1996. Warren and Mom spent the summers at the house in Central Butte, gardening and visiting. During the winters they moved to the condo in Moose Jaw for the activities they enjoyed there. Gwyn leaves to mourn: her husband, Warren Wilson; children, Keith (Carol) Bligh and Margaret (Michael) Gould; grandchildren: Heather (Jason Gouw), Kevin (Erin) Bligh, Karen (Nathan) Bergermann, Cathrine (Brent) Anderson, Janice Craig (Steve Naccarato), Marilyn Gould, and Brian (Dallas) Gould; great-grandchildren: Scott and Teagan Craig, Ryker and Amara Gouw, Hudson and Oliver Bligh, Claire and Clint Bergermann, and Holden and Beckett Anderson; Warren’s children: Bonnie Bartel (Ray Mann), Joan (Gary) Kading, Pat (Greg) Lamb and their families. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the loving care Gwyn received as a resident at Providence Place, especially to Guardian Grove where she was blessed with such wonderful care. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Central Butte United Church.
