Passed peacefully away on December 3, 2014 (3 days before his 91st birthday), after a long and love-filled life, Daniel Joseph Cadigan of Logy Bay. Predeceased by his wife Alice (nee Devereaux), brothers Michael, Patrick, Coleman, Stephen, sister Margaret (Roche) and daughter-in-law Kimberley. Leaving to mourn with beautiful memories his sons Robert (Anne Browne), Dan (Dianne), daughters Kathy (Steve Inkpen), Agnes (Kevin Mallay), Ann (Craig Flynn) and sister Mary (Nellie) Madison (Alvin). Eleven adored grandchildren: Alicia, Conor, Benjamin, Andrew, Lane, Hayley, Matthew, Nicole, Amanda, Caroline and Michael as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Dan served with honour in the St. John's Regional Fire Department for 32 years retiring in 1983 as Assistant Fire Chief. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road, visitation on Thursday and Friday, December 4th and 5th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at 2:30 pm Saturday December 6th, 2014 from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
