It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Barbara Francis Curnew announce her passing at the Health Science Complex in St. John’s, NL on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Angela (Cory Young); son Bernard; grandsons: Ryan Benoit (Amy Bennett), Callen Young; brothers: Pat (Eunice) Tobin, Mickey (Greta) Tobin, Billy (Elsie) Tobin, Pius (Joan) Tobin; sisters: Ann Fife, Mary Pieroway; special nephew George (Laura) Tobin as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas & Josephine Tobin; brothers: Ron Tobin, Fintan Tobin and Hillary Young. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th & 7th from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Assumption Parish in Stephenville Crossing. Interment will be held in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
