It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Randy on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Alliance Church, 14 Neslia Place, Moose Jaw, SK with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating. Randy was a loving husband and an amazing father who was best known for his thoughtful, fun-loving personality and skilled hands as a Home Builder and Cabinet Maker. He was born and raised on the family farm near Spring Valley, SK and had a love for the great outdoors and spending good times with family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Anne; sister, Debbie; mother-in-law, Marie Koch; brother-in-law, Ally Koch; niece, Jenn Koch; and best friend, Gord Kammerer. Randy will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 33 years, Kathy; son, Jodi (Erika); daughter, Vanessa (Joe) Lamey; grandsons, Jaxon and Janzen; father-in-law, Peter Koch; sisters: Gloria (Adolph), Joan (John), Rosalie (Jack) and Joanne; brother, Ralph (Fran); brothers-in-law: Emerson (Karen), Dan (Arlene), John (Bev) and Peter (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Bettyann (Brent) and Betty Ann Koch; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Randy’s name may be made to the New Moose Jaw Regional Hospital c/o Moose Jaw Health Foundation for Furnishing a private patient room, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1H3.
