The Honourable Kenneth Charles Mackay: Q.C., B.C.L., M.C.L., K.C.L.J., F.S.A. Scot, retired justice of the Quebec Superior Court, of Glenroy Farm, New London, P.E.I., passed away in Montreal after a brief illness on Dec. 5, 2014. He was born in Montreal on Sept. 29, 1920, the son of the late Marion Crowell of Halifax and Dr. Frederick H. Mackay, a native of Summerfield.
He is survived by his sons Dr. Frederick Charles of Saint Eustache and Iain Nicolas (Aki Shimazaki) of Montreal, his daughters Moragh, Meredith, and Victoria, his stepbrother Dr. Hugh Brodie, stepsister Heather Hodgson as well as grandchildren Hannah and Kaito and nieces Leslie and Lindsay Doig and former spouse Louise Boucher. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Doig. A service in Montreal and in South Granville to be held at a later date. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mackay Rehabilitation Centre 3500 Decarie Blvd., Montreal, or the South Granville Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund. Arrangements entrusted to the Davison Funeral Home Kensington.
