It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of George Edward Peet announce his passing on Saturday 6 December 2014. George was the most wonderful, kind hearted, caring, generous and funniest man that we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was forever the life of the party, always had the best jokes and could talk the leg off a table. He was not just the best Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather but a confidant, mentor and the best of friends. Although he had endured many personal difficulties, he was always there to offer support and advice and he remained the most positive, optimistic and compassionate person anyone would want to know. He will always be remembered with a smile and a fondness that words cannot express. Leaving to mourn and forever loved by his wife Dorothy, his sons George (Denise) and Scott (Ashley) and his daughters Janet (deceased), Deborah (Andrew), his Grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Jessica (Iain), Aaron, Adrian, Avery, his Great Grandson Noah George and a wide circle of Family and Friends. Cremation has taken place and information on visitation and funeral services will follow shortly. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted by the North West Rotary Foundation Trust and the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
