THROOP, KENNETH RICHARD - Surrounded by his loving family, Kenneth Richard Throop passed away peacefully on December 8, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Amherst, NS on September 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Norman and Hazel (Doncaster) Throop. Ken is survived by his wife Udeavillia (McKay) Throop, his son; Kenneth (Rebecca Doiron) Throop, daughters Carla, Krista, and Nancy (Dan Chase), his six precious grandchildren, a great-grandchild, sister Annie (Donald) Buck and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Ken was predeceased by his daughter, Anne Louise, two grandchildren and his brothers Arthur and Lester.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, a private family interment will be held at a later date.
