MAILLET, DONALD "TATTOO" - (1954 - 2014) - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Donald Maillet, 60, of Richibouctou-Village passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Emery and late Salomee (Allain) Maillet. Donald was a fisherman and also a roofer. He was a member of the Richibouctou-Village Golden Age Club, Skidoo and ATV Club and a past member of the Richibouctou-Village Fire Department. Donald loved to watch hockey, play cards, go on his skidoo and ATV and spending time with his family. Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Cecile Cormier of Richibouctou-Village; two daughters, Josée Maillet at home, Rachelle LeBlanc (Chris) of St. Antoine and two grandchildren, Benoit and Michel. He is also survived by one sister, Elva Thibodeau (Regis) of Grand Barachois and one brother, Norman Maillet (Emerise) of Richibouctou-Village; brother-in-law, Emerie Cormier, two nieces, Joceline (Denis), Mireille; two nephews, Rémi (Christine) and Mario and mother and father-in-law, Louise and Andre Cormier. He was predeceased by his parent and one brother Gerald.
Visitation will be at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Friday 4:00 to 9:00 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 am, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Donations in Donald's memory may be made to the family.
