FEVENS, Seretha Muriel - 92 of Lakeside Road, Yarmouth County, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on December 7, 2014. Born May 9, 1922 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late William and Genieva (Moses) Hazelton. Mom was a fun loving mother whom we shared so many laughs with. Mom enjoyed travelling, flowers, and her flowerbeds. She spent many hours having bonfires at the back shore in Pembroke which were great times with her family. She loved her family and took pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten by daughter, Ernestine (Frank) Fevens-Jenkins of Lake Echo; sons, Vernon (Virginia), Chegoggin; Jerry (Anita), Port Alberni, BC; Dick (Anna), Lower Argyle, 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren, 4 great-great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lillian O'Connell, Yarmouth; Lennie Nickerson, Brooklyn; brothers, Donald Hazelton, Burlington ON; Malcolm (Anita) Hazelton, Hamilton ON. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Ernest; sons, Keith and Larry; brothers, Murray, Bruce, Walter, William, Hugh; sisters, Violet, Irene, and Joyce. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Symonds officiated. Interment followed in Chegoggin Cemetery.
