Passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Carbonear General Hospital, Mrs. Mary E. Hutchings of Tilton (recently resided at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre), aged 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Leonard, parents Annie and Norman Pike, and brothers Bill (Mildred) and David (Doris) Pike. Left to mourn are her daughter Marlene (Wayne Woodford), sons Don (Mary) and Reg (Marilyn), grandsons John (Courtney) and Jamie Tobin, granddaughters Kelly Hutchings and McKenzie Hutchings, great-granddaughter Bridget Tobin, sister and brother-in-law May and Selby Hutchings, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay. Visitation was Sunday, December 7 from 2- 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral took place from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay on Monday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation and inurnment have taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
