CARTEN, ELLA ROSE - The passing of Ella Rose Carten of Fredericton, NB occurred on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 17, 1942 in Bristol, NB, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Gladys (Holmes) Drost. She was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church. Rose is survived by her daughters, Sally and Angela; sons, Jim, Lenny, Junior and Ronnie Booker and John Gray; sisters, Margaret Drost (Ghislain Dube) of Kingsley, NB and Irene Buckingham of Hanwell, NB; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Allan Booker.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 12 to 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service with Rev. Terry Woodcock officiating. Interment will take place Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Fredericton SPCA.
