CRAWFORD, LEONARD JAMES "CROW" - The death of Crow Crawford, loving husband of Audrey (Bailey) Crawford, occurred on Tuesday, December 09, 2014 at his residence in Shannex’s Embassy Hall. Born November 9, 1929 in Saint John, he was son of the late Walker and Doris (Sorrell) Crawford. In his younger years, Crow was a member of Rodney Sea Cadets. Crow and his wife Audrey were members of Victoria Street Baptist Church, and upon its closing, adherents of Main Street Baptist Church. He was a Cabinet Maker at Christie Woodworking prior to his 35 year career with the Saint John Fire Department, where he retired as District Chief. Crow was also a proud Partner and Vice President of Sparkle Pools, along with his two sons, and loved snowmobiling at The Crow’s Nest. Crow loved his vacations to Las Vegas, so much so that he and Audrey went 29 times. He also visited Newfoundland to see his friends, and took vacations with his family, including his three grandchildren, to California and Arizona. Crow’s grandchildren were so precious to him, and he looked forward to their lunchtime visits everyday while they were in school close to his home. Carbolic- from the boys. In addition to his wife Audrey, Crow is survived by his two sons: Lance (Alana) and Blake (Bonnie); three grandsons: Tyler, Brock (Kaitie), and Dylan; and several cousins.
